Size and gauge explained

The size of the blunt tip needle is indicated by the gauge, shown as G. A higher G number means a smaller inner diameter. A lower G number means a wider opening.

The viscosity of your blend determines which gauge you need. Thicker blends require a wider tip to allow smooth flow and avoid excessive pressure during filling.

Recommended gauges for cartridge filling

For ceramic Evomax, Kera RR, TH2, and TH2 Evomax cartridges, a 14G blunt tip needle is recommended.
For Vita cartridges, a 12G needle offers better flow and control.
For Gembar devices, a 12G needle is also recommended.
For other disposable devices, a 10G needle or smaller provides the best results with thicker blends.
